I was once a hungry, young writer studying the craft of storytelling and journalism, with dreams of becoming the next great “Gonzo” writer like the late Hunter S. Thompson. Life has a brutal and efficient way to making short work of a young person’s dreams, especially when that young person isn’t disciplined and resilient enough to persevere. Decades later, both technology and media have allowed me to revisit the idea of storytelling and journalism in the form of “The Grey Range Podcast”, where I use poetry to ignite conversations with people whose stories, I hope others find as interesting as I do.
