No one cares.
It’s a fact. Don’t take it personally.
All the pain and suffering you have gone through in your life. The trauma, the sacrifice, the loss; yeah, no one cares.
Now, I’m not saying that there aren’t sympathetic people out there who cannot and will not identify with your struggle, but the fact remains that the past is the past and they can not help you.
Only you can help you, and the only way that you can help you is to choose to try to fix the current issues you are facing. Guess what? You can’t fix the past either. All you can do is do things in the present to give yourself a greater probability of a less shitty future.
It’s not pretty.
It’s not glamorous.
It’s not romantic.
It’s just life, and doing all those things you have avoided doing because they were uncomfortable or boring, or they broke with your current worldview.
We have to face the fact that we are more likely to make excuses for our shortcomings than to do the work to change them. We’re creatures of habit that instinctively follow the path of least resistance. But we are also amazing Cbildren of God, crafted in the image of divinity and given the free will to literally change the state and substance of reality. So, don’t settle for whining about your past to other people who don’t care about their own lives, let alone yours.
Live while you still can.
It’s worth it, I promise.
Have a great week.
Be safe.
Be well.
Much Love.
