Mental Health Monday – 10.23.23


Dang. It’s Monday again.

Winter is here. Showed up like a relative you only half like, and it’s gonna stick around for the next six months.

Guess what?

This game isn’t supposed to get easier.

So, with that said, what’s the plan for this week? What strategies do you have ready to put in play to make your living situation better? Your work more productive? Your body stronger and healthier? Your mind more creative? Your spirit more grateful?

You were here last week. Same place. Same situation. Don’t you think it might be a good idea to utilize just a little bit of your time to make next Monday better than this one?

Look. I get it. I am the dumbass in the meme. I’m lazy. I procrastinate. I like to eat and drink more than I like to work out and study. I have bad habits and tendencies that hold me back. I don’t let that stop me. I do what I can, which admittedly isn’t much. But it makes a difference. It’s not nothing.

Life changes quickly. It can knock you down and push you back hard. That’s why it’s so important to build a little bit of resilience. We get stronger, not all at once, but incrementally over time. You deserve your own time and attention.

You are worth the work.
