Over 1700 pieces have now been published to the Hokus Grey blog.
I think I’ll keep going, but in the meantime, having such a volume of content means that I can take the opportunity to reach back into the archives and share some pieces from time to time.
“Cold Morning Floor” was written with a mental image that I attempted to capture. Sometimes, these type of images are alive, or appear like vignettes, quick views into someone else’s life.
I think that this is one of the benefits of writing early in the morning, before coffee, or the day has quite awakened, as the veil between the dream and the real world is at its thinnest, making it slightly easier to capture what only exists in the imagination.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for reading.
