Intersection

It might have been a dream,

but I remember meeting

an angel,

or a demon

at a long-lost intersection.

Helped me peek

behind the curtain

and revealed the inner workings.

I understood nothing,

of that I am certain,

but it left a great impression.

While we are sealed in this dimension,

there is some kind of transition,

a point of time for graduation

from this flimsy, flesh temptation,

to a greater revelation.

I hold my breath in anticipation

as I await my invitation.

I met an angel,

or a demon

at some forgotten intersection.

a choice was made,

I didn’t mention;

my choice,

my life,

my new direction.

You cannot linger at the threshold,

you must step in,

or be abandoned.
