Light Circuit

I burned on both ends,

like a candle,

stitching the Sun

and the core of the Earth together.

Like a wire,

system interconnected,

plugged in,

downloading the cosmos.

Neutron stars

to neurons lit.

Sparks cascading,

and embers,

hot and intense lives,

winking out of existence;

quick as they came.

Synergistic,

symbiotic.

An ecology of light,

lattice-worked against the backdrop

of dead infinity.

New parts growing,

birthing,

creating,

quicker than the final burn

of atrophy.

Light,

is temporarily alone,

but it lives on,

eternal,

in the circuit

that illuminates

and stands against the darkness.
