I love you today,
like gravity.
Falling into you,
but moving with such speed,
I burn up in your atmosphere.
At least part of me
and maybe that’s a good thing.
We fall in and out of love,
dipping in our orbits.
Foreign constellations
show up in our skies
sometimes
and we are lost again,
until we swing back
into each other’s presence.
