Spent some time travelling this week;
for business, not for pleasure,
but I wrote in different places,
which paid strange dividends.
Stuck in the life of adult nine to twenty,
back and forth,
a cold, friction grind.
One can benefit from a change in location,
sucking in the universe
from a different set of coordinates.
The linear always devastates me.
It makes me nervous,
gels my blood.
I must take great pains now,
to extricate
me from myself,
while drawing us closer.
I hope you all can come with me;
on this bizarre adventure.
We’re all in this together;
thick as thieves and gypsies.
Let’s all burn our pasts
and light the way forward.
