Hello,
When I first started this blog, I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with it. Once I started uploading the “Side Effects” collection, I felt that the time spent at the keyboard was at the very least going to be a beneficial exercise for old skills. I even dared to be hopeful, as I poured over notebooks and began to publish “The Malcontent” collection, that revisiting such a prolific archive of work might reignite my love of writing again. Not to say that I wasn’t writing fresh material; there are other categories in my blog, like “Poetry – Capturing Synaptic Lightning” and “The Shadowy Side of The Street” where I had been sporadically publishing new pieces, but I was not sitting down to write on a regular basis. By the time I was finishing uploading “The Malcontent” to the blog, I was pleased to find that the act of sitting at the keyboard had become something I looked forward to again and composing new work was again richly rewarding!
Success!
With all that said, I have been making time to write regularly in recent weeks and there are new pieces coming…. like tomorrow!
The work on prose is coming along, albeit slowly, as I am feeling my way through these stories with my fingers like a blind man reads a face, but there are things to be had there.
Thank you all for reading!

I write daily at a site called 750words.com. It is a private space to write whatever you want, be it fiction, non-fiction, or complete nonsensical ramblings. No one reads it but you so it is like an online personal journal. They send daily reminders to write your 750 words and I’ve now gotten into the habit.
Long way to say, I found the act of writing daily not only therapeutic but opens up channels of creativity so not surprised the act of transcribing older pieces opened up the joy of writing again. Look forward to continued reading.
I have a few things to do to get a full time writing space finished, but it will happen soon. I’ve gone back to hand writing in a journal in the morning and that has been enjoyable. Some of the new stuff is actually not bad! Haha!
